Audit & Assessment Management
An assessment is generally self-imposed and performed for a variety of reasons, the most common of which is to gauge the operational performance of the organization or specific practice areas within the operations of the organization.
Audits are designed to help organizations achieve some sort of regulatory or accreditation mandate by satisfying (not necessarily exceeding) a MINIMUM performance level based upon an industry stated average in the form of an approved standard or reference model.
Assessments and audits both offer a formal, structured approach to reviewing and establishing the current quality and performance levels of an organization, and to many sound similar in their intentions. In fact there are major and distinct differences between the goals of each, as well as when and how they should be conducted, and by whom.
They may be used in combination to conduct ‘quality assurance’ or a product or service.

To design and operate compatible assessment and audit processes that may be used to determine the capability of the service provider organization and the extent to which it is in conformant with predefined standards-based and regulatory compliance requirements.
