The Universal Service Management Body of Knowledge (USMBOK™)

The Guide to the USMBOK

The Guide to the USMBOK describes over more than 475 pages the details of each element of the USMBOK and is the recommended reference source for all credentials within the service management qualification scheme sponsored by the Service Management Society.

“The USMBOK is an amazing achievement. Codifying what is in your head may sound like a good idea but try doing it; the size of the challenge for service management is immense. For Ian to have been able to take the time to do this is one achievement, but to make it coherent is another entirely!

Ian has codified and documented a coherent body of knowledge for service management that is practical, clear, and that provides a genuine ‘how to’ starting point for the general, and IT service management professional.

If I had a hat, I would take it off to him”. Brian Johnson, Vice President CA Inc, ITIL Author & ITIL Pioneer.

The e-book version of the USMBOK, Version 2010, is now available for download and purchase. The e-book version is a 25-30Mb sized file and contains both the complimentary sample and the full version.

A purchase is required to access the full version and this can be made directly from the e-book itself. When a purchase is successfully processed a separate email will be sent within 24 hours containing the access code required to activate the full version.

The e-book version is an executable file that requires occasional Internet access to remain enabled. It ONLY runs on a Windows OS platform and will not work on a Macintosh/Apple PC.

You can download the table of contents and index Guide TOC.
